Mass Message

A message sent simultaneously to all subscribers or a targeted segment of your fanbase.

Mass messaging is a core feature on OnlyFans that allows creators to send a single message to all of their subscribers at once, or to a filtered segment based on criteria such as spending habits, subscription status, or how long they have been subscribed. This feature is primarily used to distribute PPV content, announce promotions, or re-engage inactive fans.

The power of mass messaging lies in its ability to reach your entire audience with minimal effort while still feeling personal. Unlike a timeline post that subscribers may scroll past, a direct message lands in their inbox and triggers a notification, making it far more likely to be seen. Many top-earning creators attribute a significant portion of their revenue to well-crafted mass messages containing PPV content.

Segmentation is crucial for maximizing the effectiveness of mass messages. Sending the same message to every subscriber regardless of their behavior is a missed opportunity. Instead, consider creating different messages for high spenders, new subscribers, and fans who have not purchased recently. Personalization tokens, such as using the subscriber’s name, can further increase open and unlock rates.

Be mindful of message frequency. Sending too many mass messages, especially PPV-heavy ones, can lead to subscriber fatigue and increased churn. A balanced approach that mixes free content, engagement-focused messages, and occasional PPV offers tends to perform best over time.
